I have a set of the Event 20/20's. Had them for a few years now. I think they are great - clean, strong and true to your track(s). They are pretty massive for 8 inch units. Of course I'm bias to my stuff. I'd like to hear a set of Yamaha ns10's just to see what I'm missing!

thanx for all the advice - im looking for monitors that are going to be true to the mix, something with an exeptionally flat response, like the ns-10's - any suggestions?

they're a bit pricier, but i have event precision 8's. they're Amazing. zzounds.com has "factory resealed" ones for under $1k. that's what i got, and they're pretty much as good as new, as far as i can tell.
