Using multiple letters with Custom Actions

Is there a way to create custom actions that have multiple letters? For example, for the action to "Delete active take", I would like to do something like "CTRL+T+D" (Take,Delete) and for "Toggle take reverse" something like "CTRL+T+R" (Take, Reverse). In essence, I'm trying to use the first letter of the main words so that it's easy to remember.

Not possible. One modifiers key (optional) + one character.

+1 Back in the day, "Notion" did this (maybe still does?) and it was a time saver, for sure. They called it "Express Entry". The cursor changing to remind you of the technique that was about to be dropped onto the score was a nice bonus... Would love to see something like this in Reaper, if possible.

I was wondering how hard it would be to script a generic solution for this. Turns out, if you're not afraid of hacky code and thanks to ReaImGui, it's not that complicated :) Here's a proof of concept

White is Right, Steel Grey is OK, but Estoril is the only color that truly matters. I like Coupes.
