I was doing fine with PT6.4 till I switch to PT6.7. Can even get the 002R to led up (the 44.1k / 48 k lights). Is there a problem with the new DigiCore manager? Or the new firmware is the cause? Please help me out of this misery Thanks

YeoYeo, Did the firmware upgrade go OK on your 002R--no errors? I am using 6.7CS8 with a 002R on the new firmware and it has been working fine... You may want to d/l the cs8 patch to be sure that didn't fix something... -mutt

I had the 44.1 led going on and off, and losing connection each time. I took it in and they said it had "the power harness issue" happening, which is apparently quite common. They replaced it under warranty and now it works fine. Very frustrating at the time. Kiwi Muso

Hi Kiwi, thanks for the info, has power harness anything to do with the transformer ? Did they just change a new transformer? Any idea? What gives..... Thanks

I guess it might have something to do with the power/tansformer issue, coz my 002R won't even lite up on it's own, none of the firewire were connected either, the 44.1 led won't stay lited........

Yeoyeo, The power transformer is not a problem. The power harness has a tendancy to go open due to a non-conductive film build-up over time. Call Digi tech support and they will either have you send it in to them to fix or they will ship you a new cable overnight and let you install it yourself. You can also get it working by just unplugging and re-plugging the three connectors that connect the power supply to the two circuit boards. This will breakup the film and secure the connection. If you do be sure to ground yourself to prevent static discharge and be carefull not to damage the headphone jack that is adjacent the power supply connector. randy
